Nah... as suspected she figured out a reason why not... apparently we don't have space for a third dog.

I tried guys, I really did - she said as much as she loves them, she doesn't want a third.

when i got millie we went to see the neightbours pups (mum not keen on another even though i pestered).... just saw the pups and picked mil at 6 days old and said "thanks mum...". sold

Just say you are fostering it for somebody else and after your mum gets attached to it tell her that they cant take it back and if you don't keep it will have to go to a rescue

Becky I did tell her three was no more than two... but apparently I also said that two was no more than one when I wanted Eddy... oops

She does have a point - we don't have a lot of space for another bed and Eddy's cranky so the kingsized bed the two of them used to share is now just Eddy's and we've had to get Takara another bed

Oh well... just you wait - I'll be a disaster when I get my own place! LOL
