Ronnie - 2 year Old Lurcher

Ronnie is a 2 year old Lurcher and is currently on foster in Desford, Leicestershire.

Dog status: Very good, lives happily in foster with another dog and is friendly when out. Can be a little overwhelmed by big bouncy dogs
Cat status: Unknown but may be possible with very careful introductions and a confident cat

Oh Ronnie. What a charmer you are

He is just one of those dogs who is a true pleasure to rehome. He is dog friendly, child friendly, house trained, has good recall, travels well.....well the list just goes on and on.

Ronnie is a very affectionate and loving dog. He is living with children in his foster home and he is very well behaved with them. He even see a trip to the vets as a fun social occasion!



Ronnie is living in foster care with another dog who he gets along famously with. He is happy to share toys...and beds with his foster brother and is good with dogs he meets out on walks. He can be a little overwhelmed with very large or boisterous dogs.
He would love a home where he will have some canine company but he could be rehomed as a single dog if he had a lot of company and entertainment.



Ronnie has not been living with a cat, however, he has come face to face with the neighbour's cat and was not too interested. Rehoming him with a dog savvy and confident cat could be a possibility but he would have to be supervised carefully.



Ronnie has been introduced to a crate and is sleeping happily in it overnight. He is also good to be left for short periods (although he has always been left with another dog) and he is not destructive or distressed.

All in all if you are looking for an all round good guy, Ronnie is your man.



All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming.
