Home Offered for a doggie 7+ - Midlands

Hi, I am from Nottinghamshire and I have decided to rehome a dog / bitch over 7+. He/ she must be excellant with other dogs, excellant with children (8yrs +) and be excellant with cats.

Background info.
Me and my boyfriend live in a ground floor flat with private garden. I work accross the road and come back for lunch for an hour - due to this the dog will not be left for any longer than 4 hours and will have to be comfortable with this. We are looking for a short-haired dog, small to medium. We do like our bullbreed crosses, but open to any suggestions. The reason we need a dog good with all three is because we have visiting family members with dogs and children and often go to visit my aunt for the weekend who has 4 cats. If they dog is well socialised it will be able to go to all these places with me

One thing that is really not helping us is our lack of car. So any close to Nottingham would be good

I hope you are successful in your search, there are not many people willing to take on older dogs. Have you tried ringing round different breed rescues? If you are interested in any particular breed pm me and I will find you the nearest breed rescue to you. Good Luck in your search. One thing I always say to people having trouble searching for the right dog - If something is worth having it is worth waiting for!!

babbington usually has a few dogs needing homes and most of them are staffy or staffy x's.
