What Do You Need??

I can't foster and don't have alot of money but I do have a big mouth and alot of cheek

I went into 2 charity shops yesterday and came out with 2 black binbags with blankets / bedspreads in FREE!!! One lady says she will save any unsaleable stuff for me

What else do I beg ? cuddly toys? crochet(sp) stuff ? Are curtains any good ? (just thinking laying on cloth is better than nothing)
What about carpet samples ?(squares) for the rescues who have no washing facilities (they may as well throw carpet as blankets!)

Any suggestions will be taken, I need to broaden the range of people I can 'TAP' for donations

I have been inspired by Dinahs Mum post and PM's to others to get off my backside and DO something - yesterday cost me 10 mins !!

Well done you! I've sent a box of stuff to Alexa for Wiccaweys and put a tin of dog food into Morrisons collection every week for those in rescue. Have also taken some of Cassie's Christmas pressies and sent them off as she has plenty

Cuddly toys will be gratefully recieved by greyhound rescues in particular - greys & lurchers really love teddies! Though you need to take the eyes out if they are hard ones.

Odd balls of wool would be useful to the Oldies Club dog coat knitters, if you come across any of those?

Many Tears rescue would be greatful, but I know they are quite far away!
Also, Warrington Animal Welfare isn't *too* far from you I don't think.
They save a lot of poundies - that I help to transport.

Well I bullied another charity shop into saving me their unsaleable stuff (can you get banned from a charity shop? ) so I will go back on Friday to see if they have anything to cough up.

What about the crochet (sp) stuff or the curtains / carpet squares? There's no point in my blagging them if they are of no use?

H - Where is Many Tears?

Many Tears are in Wales - Many Tears - they certainly need all the help they can get though: they home and rehabilitate ex-puppy farm dogs.

I think evenm curtains can be used!
We use old curtains and old carpets at the kennels to put in beds!

Many tears is in South Wales.
I wish I was closer....just seeing the dogs on their site makes me cry. They rescue Puppy farm dogs (ex breeders etc)
