Picking up small dogs ..

I try my best not to pick mine up ,or carry mine..
I see a girl in town who is always carrying her chi..
Paris Hilton wannbe that she be..
It cant be good for the dog .

To be fair, if it is in a crowded area like the high street I would have a nervous breakdown re people treading on it so kinda makes sense to me.

And I would pick up a tiny puppy if I thought it was very congested and its health could be compromised by large size 12a!

Lodger peed on the boss again when he picked him up today. He's not very happy if you're picking him up in a take him out of the way kind of way. Might have been OK if he hadn't said "Don't Pee on Me" as he was doing it.

I must admit, I like picking my dog up and giving her a big snuggle when I get in It doesn't do her any harm and we both enjoy it so I don't really see an issue with it.

Honestly, I would also carry my dog if I was in a very crowded area. But then again, I don't generally make it a point to take her to places where it's going to be so crowded that I'll be worried for her safety. Generally the only crowded place we go is to the train station and I do pick her up there.
