Done girly brekkies and checked they're OK, this is the first night for absolutely ages when there hasn't been some sort of fracas and found a sad girly outside looking upset, and I've had to go and sort them out. Really cold outside, but they're all snuggled up,warm as toast. House is warm as well, fire will stay in till morning now and I'm walking round in t shirt and trakkie bottoms its like a sauna. Off for a soak now. Glad you like Mabs piccies, Mandy. Will pop back on when I'm all relaxed and settled with my book.

Evening all - It's only me coming to you loud and clear from my splendid Gothic isolation. Been able to get out today as there has been a huge thaw. So trotted the Mem out for a bit of Dinner this evening - didn't want her getting cabin fever. See that all manner of things have been undertaken - blocked khazis - trips out to see bands - Expensive fillings for poor long suffering Connor! That "the voice" thing is absolutely baneful, most of the contestants that I saw (only watched it once for about 30 mins) were making the sort of noise you'd play to keep seagulls off runways.
Pleased to see that Griff being a good judge of character - realises that I am not the sort of chap to have revolting servants. Although with one or two of our employees you have a bit of a job wondering what they are thinking, Hopefully their heads will be full of kind and hospitable thoughts and a strong mental resolve to do their very best for their employer (I doubt that bit most severely). Off out with the dogs - back in a bit. Bye fer now.

No one out there to scare - most of the locals wouldn't dream of setting foot on the Moor after dark. Don't know why! Perhaps there's something out there wot as how gets folk. Can't think what they're scared of myself. Perhaps the swirling mist, huge tracts of impassable and deadly bog, unearthly noises and unaccountable disappearances have got something to do with it?
