Meat on the bone

Ive spoken to a local butcher and he said he will give me all his spare meat everyday i got some 2day and it seems to be alot of bones with meat on is this ok 4 my 5month old pup? he seems to like it a bone kept him queit for 20mins 2day and 4him 20secs with the same thing is very good

yeh, bones r good for him, just dont cook them . make sure hes chewing them. When i first gave my dog a bone she tried to swallow it whole, so i had to hold the other end for her at first so she would chew

If you are feeding completely raw then bones are needed for the calcium But just be careful as Jenny says that they arent cooked as they can splinter

What bones/meat are they? Chicken wings , marrow bones or other

mostly lamb meat on leg bone and also ribs i give him bonless chicken i havent tried wings yet..they are not cooked all meat is raw

We gave Bosun raw chicken wings from about 12 weeks old I think and he was and is fine... Jas was older when he started getting things like that and had to be watched as he would try and gulp it without chewing, we did as Jenny says and held on to it so he could chew bits off
