I agree with AlbionLass, A structured Puppy class will be more beneficial to you too. Roxy loves meeting all the other puppys at her class, but because its controlled, she is never 'out-of-control'.

A piece of advice from my trainerwas - If you let your puppy play with another puppy for longer than a minute you have lost control of your pup. you must intervine every minute or so and make them do a sit or something to keep it controlled.

All dogs went home with a goody bag which included free flea treatment and a tuggy rope toy.
So I would reccomend these paticular ones to anyone.

That sounds great!

DG - I'm afraid I don't even pretend to be in control of Bongo!

I voted it as a good idea
I think it is good for puppys to interact with other pups of a similar age especially if they are the only dog at home, which mine will be.
There is one in may area. It is part of a training centre. The puppy socialisation classes are separate from the training classes. You pup is introduced to others of the same age and similar size, which they are very strict about.

We have had our MWHD at these classes but because they were badly organised we no longer take them. We found that they let all the dogs loose which meant large bounding pups scaring the little ones half to death.I personally think that this has affected the dogs in older life as the ones that did go to the classes are scared of large dogs the ones that had socialisation by other methods are okay. On the whole if they are well oragnised they can be extremely useful and informative
