2 year old Male Weimaraner

I have been forwarded this by a local trainer - This guy is on a waiting list to go into a local rescue centre.

Male neutered 2 year old Wiemeraner free to good home.

Story as told.
Rescued at 1 year old. Husband now gone to Irac . Wife works around 4 to 5 hours a day so put the dog in 'day care' where it played with other dogs. Gets on well with all dogs.

Problem:-
Daughter now home from college (22 years old and of quiet disposition).
Dog jumps up at her grabbing clothes/clawing etc. mouthing but no blood.

Note :-
Husband played wrestling with dog allowing it to mouth him etc.

I havn't seen the dog but as it is now not getting the day care activity my thoughts are understimulated and the behaviour is attention seeking.
No training to speak of, not even a proper sit (does it when it feels like it)

Please please please ask the guy to get in touch with Weimaraner Rescue where the dog will be assessed and matched with the RIGHT home.

I have tried. I have not been in direct contact with owner, but have tried to get the trainer to get this guy into a breed specific rescue - but to no avail I'm afraid

If the dog were rescued at a year old then surely the owner needs to contact the original rescue!

Failing that Margaritta Booker at WCGB is the person best to contact - her home and mobile number can be found on the WCGB website

There is nothing to say that the dog came via a rescue organisation, it may have been a "private" rescue.
