Dog sleeping in your bed

Ok i know this has prob been posted before but ive got a quick question for everyone. Just wondering if anyone else has the same prob as i do.

Well as the title says, i let my dog sleep in my bed, i know lots of people dont like this but i love to turn over in the morning with her little head peaking out of the blanket looking at me lol.

Ive noticed that if she goes in the garden and then comes up to bed and jumps on it she leaves little paw prints. haha. I have a throw over it so that it doesnt ruin my duvet covers as they as way too nice. But with the throw being faux suade ive had to turn it over as that would probably get ruined too. Only thing is, the underside is / was white.

Anyone know of anything else i could put over my bed just so that it doesnt get dirty? Is there a doggy protector or something lol

I use a giant size beach towel on my bed. I don't use fleecey or synthetic stuff anymore as we both get electric shocks of it!

Invest in dark coloured duvet covers, avoid plain colours and then the paw prints don't show so much...can you tel I'm speaking from experience!

ah thanks a lot guys, so by the sounds of it a cheap duvet cover for the day time sounds good enough. Throws can cost a lot, and the one i have cost £80 and is being put through its paces

We bought a couple of double-bed sized quilted bed throws from Ikea. They work beautifully, with the one problem - I can't fit them in the washing machine! Good job they're dark colours........

i use a dark coloured Satiny effect one. The hairs just shake off in the morning and easy to wash and dry
