Jean Charles de Menezes

I see the witnesses in this inquiry have stated that no warning was given before Jean charles was shot.

Anyone else suprised by this?

No, that makes sense.

As far as the officers were concerned, they were dealing with a suicide bomber. If they had given a warning, he would have detinated the bomb.

Now I'm not saying that it wasn't a terrible mistake and I do feel really sorry for him and his family, but given the (albeit incorrect) information, I really don't see what other choice they had.

Another headlline could have been '200 die on a tube as police officers fail to stop suicide bomber'.

To my mind, it wasn't the fault of the officers who actually shot him, it was of those that gave them incorrect information.
