i would point out you shouldn't have to treaten legal action for medical treatment, jacs he has no evidence to prove that it hasn't been open for that period hes just trying to cover his own botty as your gp.
clin neg are big cases esp if you taking on the hospital for malpractice....ie lack of aftercare and the pain you have been in from the wound since.
if it was me i would take them to the cleaners gp and hospital.

i was steralised 8 years ago and just over my scar keeps coming a abcess and was at the doctor 3 weeks ago and he said thers a possiblitiy some thing from the op has been left behind,and iv been referd to get it re-opened up,and maybe the same in your case ,if the doctor is stupid enugh to laugh at you ask for a second opion your entitled to one and tell them unless its sorted you ARE going to take legal action or media attention,the miserable sods they wouldnt leave a animal in that state,and i hope you do feel better soon,

Finally i got a letter to go see the surgeon at the hospital on tuesday about my wound on my stomach yahhhh!!! so hopefully he will say he will operate and i get it sorted and i will be painfree

i was very poorly this afternoon so hubby rang the emergency doctor
it seems YES i do have a MRSA bug

and the doctor gave me yet more tablets and is calling my surgeon first thing in the morning

and i still feel really ill
