Assuming they have a trainning programme I do sympathise with you, I could waffle on about the benefits of a proper apprenticeship programme, the type which seems to have been abandoned 30 or so years ago where you had to work in every department of the factory and study at college and go into the field and work alongside experienced older men (or women) and all for half the going rate.

I don't think I would risk taking my laptop into a dealer, I don't use it much now anyway. If the desktop PC ever packs up I'll see if my friendly computer lady can fix it, ifnot I'll get a new one.
