Not my dog but my cat, he has a narrowed pelvis from where a fracture healed, this makes it hard for him to pass faeces, if he gets very constipated he will be violently sick from straining.. Not only that, but I have been warned the backed up faeces can go toxic. My cat has to have medicine everyday to keep him regular and I have stronger liquid for if he is finding it difficult.... If that doesn't work he goes for a microlax mini enema...I have been given the stuff to do it myself but I am too scared of him scratching me lol, if the microlax doesn't work he then has to go for the full enema
Does your vet want to see you again??? If they do, ask for advice on preventing a recurrence. Hope your dog is better soon
