Burns Pork and Potato dry food

Has anyone previously used or does anyone currently feed their dogs Burns Pork and Potato dry food?

What do you think of it? How did your dogs do it on?

I was warned it could cause slight constipation at first. Rupert didn't have any problems specific to that variety but he had real problems maintaining weight on Burns in general so he didn't do at all well on it.

Max has been on Burns for a while and has always done well on it. I alternate his flavours so he doesn't just have the pork and potato but he has always enjoyed it when it he does and it has never caused him any upset.

I've got the Burns samples now however Im going to stick to the Wainwrights turkey & veg as at last we have found a food that appears to agree, bar slightly windy but hopefully that will settle down. His skin is almost a normal colour again

If you contact Burns, they will send you out samples

My dogs love Burns dry food. I have to admit that my dogs have the 'Fish and Brown rice' and are doing really well on it. One of mine has an allergy which appears to be food related. But having changed to Burns he's now fine. Just for variety I add whatever vegetables I've cooked each day and a spoonful of Nature Diet.
My cousins dogs are fed on the Pork and Potato dry kibble and they are certainly doing really well on it. I think it is Burn's best seller!

Thanks all, I'm trying a change of diet for a month with Roxy with a novel source of protein as advised by the vet, so we're trying Burns Pork and Potato to see how she gets on. This is due to issues as mentioned in another thread.

Molly does fantastically well on Burns, and I've never tried Roxy on this particular kind so hopefully this will suit her. If it doesn't, we can easily change it.

Trying this along with a few supplements as well.

Why only one scoop? What was wrong with it?

To be fair it turned out that he had more serious issue with his digestive system but he threw it back quicker than anything I tried with him.

I got the best results with no carbs and just cooked meat.
