Your right about the exhibitors Dizzy, not everyone like everyone of course and there are little gangs, but all the exhibitors love the breed and are pleased for any hounds success, it's owner does not come into the equation.
Think in recent times the splits both between the exhibitors and the breed types have become wider but may be it is because I am not so involved now that I see these things, looking from the outside in. Sometimes wish I had closer relationships with some of the exhibitors but just being on the friendly acquaintance level with everyone stands you in good stead when you are judging.

We don't enter under judges who have made it clear they don't like my type of hound, to be blunt, I don't think people who judge but the type they like rather than the breed standard deserve my entry really but I am not sure I would be strong enough not to enter under a judge who stated that they liked my type of hound, so I suppose I should not complain.
