Bailey had his first bath!

Decided yesterday that Bailey was too muddy and that I would try giving him a bath I was dreading it but it went really well!
I'm so proud of him Apart from a few attempts to climb out he just buried his head in my arms and let us get on with it I was really expecting a nightmare and didn't think he would even stay in the bath never mind stand still

So now he looks lovely and shiny. And I noticed he's got black speckles of fur along his white tummy Very cute.
Now I just have to keep him that way

Aww, I bet he smells LUVERLY now!
Make sure you give him lots of extra cuddles so he knows how handsome he is, now.

A wee trick I was given by a dog-groomer is to smear a blob of peanut butter on the side of the bath tub - the dog is so busy licking it off that he barely notices all the shampooing and rinsing going on, LOL!

That's a good trick PONlady, I'll remember that
He did look lovely, and was so soft but he's been for a walk since then
I took a couple of photos I'll post them when they are developed

Oh dear, poor Gemma! That's not a nice surprise!
Yes, I was hoping he would leap in on his own but that didn't happen I ended up gettting in myself and lifting him in! He managed to get out by himself though
