Has you dog ever gotten stuck in the mud?

Has your dog ever gotten stuck in the mud? If so, what did he or she do to get free? Be as detailed as possible like did your dog try pulling it's paws out, how it got stuck there in the first place, how thick or sticky the mud was, stuff like that

If you have pictures or a video or a story to share about it, please do

Why do you want such exact details if its just curiosity ?

BTW I've never had a dog stuck in mud and I hope it never happens.

Yes I have had a dog stuck in mud (on a beach) I walked over and lifted it out.

No I didn't take pictures, it would never occur to me to do so I was too busy freeing my dog and making sure it was ok.

Sophie used to leap in water puddles to chase geese. She got stuck a few times but always managed to leap out anyway. But of course she needed three baths when she got home, dirty water, goose poop, slime and mud...no fun.

How was she trying to free herself?
