My Lab has a zigzag pattern on his back

Hi,
My black labrador has a zig zag pattern in his fur on the bottom of his back, i have been trying to find out why ?

Can anyone help?

My skye has the same, I posted on here a few months back and came to the conclusion thats is just a unique thing to her.

It sounds like a unique pattern... a little like the unique red horns that have started appearing from my collies head.....lol!!! xxxxx

Its normal- most labs have a dorsal stripe of coarser fur

Those horns aren't so unique you know. Dingo is sporting a full grown pair here. Do you think someone came and swapped our dogs for alien versions when we weren't looking?
