BLACKIE 6yr old Labrador-X

Blackie is a 6yr old Labrador-X who has sadly come back to ARC after being rehomed 2yrs ago. His family made the difficult decision to give him up because they have moved & are not allowed a dog. He was originally an unclaimed stray and his new family have worked very hard with him to make him the loving, confident boy he is now. He enjoys his walks, loves his food & is completely house-trained. Blackie also knows all his basic commands and will happily “give paw” when asked. He will bond quite strongly with his new human and this can lead to his being a little over-protective when out on a lead, but some training classes should sort this out as Blackie is a clever boy, & will learn new skills very quickly. He doesn’t like loud bangs (particularly fireworks) & he hates being shut in small, enclosed spaces, but will happily make himself at home on the sofa! Blackie just wants a family that can give him all the love his previous family gave him ( and a nice big sofa to curl up on!) .
