If you just youtube ''e collar working level test'' you find plenty of videos.

If you youtube ''e collar working level human test'' you will also find videos.

I don't see the point in doing a vid thats already been done lol.

I'm simply suggesting youtube links.

I'm not putting them up I'm just saying what you can search.

Oh please ban him...pretty please? All he's doing is parroting his master. He contributes nothing useful to the conversation here.

I want to know why those who use things like ecollars, prong collars, choke chains etc insist they don't cause pain. I've put a choke chain around my wrist and yanked it, it hurt like hell! I don't even want to know what that would feel like around my throat. I imagine a jerk on a prong collar would be even more painful. How can it NOT hurt the dog??

Ive seen those human e collar Vids and in every one the person wearing it ends yelling/screaming in pain and trying to remove the collar. So yes PAINFULL! they're actually really funny too!

At higher levels its just greater discomfort tbh.

Making something that hurts is going to be counter productive to training anyway as the dog will slow down its learning.

It equates to the same thing.

You've been given a 3 day ban as a final warning.

What exactly is discomfort. My ankle is aching today. I could say I am in discomfort, I could say it is painful. Both descriptions apply

Something painful is very uncomfortable. However, discomfort sounds less severe than pain even though very often the descriptions very often overlap and are descriptive of the same state.

Adam, I've tried e-collars on myself and, for me, they range from uncomfortable to painful - neither sensation could be described as a mild tingle, a flea bite. The first sensation (first feeling of the collar being used on my arm) was akin to a static shock from a car door. The latter was very, very uncomfortable. I would not want to inflict either sensation on a poor animal to train it.
