Those of you with puppies

Are you planning to put up your Christmas Tree this year?

If so, in it's usual spot or high up somewhere? If not, what else are you going to do?

I want to feel Christmassy but do not want to hassle of retrieving my collection of ornaments (my husband and I buy each other one every year as a gift) from a certain young man's mouth!

Toro is a year, if I put a tree up it will be in another room where there is no chance of it being pulled to bits, she doesn't like change so the tree wouldn't last lol

I was just planning to put it up and see how we go! asking for trouble i know!!! Although im here all day anyway so i'll try to keep an eye on things. most of my ornaments are wooden or fabric so any glass or baubles etc will go higher up the tree. Im sure there will be alot of dashing around, but, hey, whats new!!

Some people with pups use a playpen.... for the tree I wouldn't trust m 2 alone with Christmas decorations and they are 5 and 7.

Put it up bare and keep telling him no if he goes near it, before he grabs it but when he's at that moment where you know he's thinking of doing it! Then put just a few ornaments on, maybe some cheapy ones that you aren't bothered about, just to test him.

He will soon learn not to bother with it and that it's just another bit of furniture, mine always give it a good sniff over every year when it comes out. The cat's are the b****rs! Although I do have some fuzzy baubles and Charlie and Maddy are convinced they are tennis balls! But they know not to touch anything on there now.

TBH you'd be best giving it a try while he's so young as next year when he is a year old he will be even more of a menace if he has never seen one before.

Good luck!
