teeth brushing

ive put indie onto naturediet today, and she loved it!

anyway, i thought seeing as shes on wetfood i wud buy her a doggy toothbrush. Well she was interested in the toothbrush and i was able to run it thru he mouth no probs, but the minute i put toothpaste on it (poultry flavour) she ran under the bed
when i got home with it i showed her the tube and put a bit on my finger for her to taste, she smelt it and ran off.

does anyone have any ideas why she might do this??
i got it from pets at home, its called petosan. it was the only one they had

Mine did exactly the same with that brand - I got some from the vet and they did the same then I used my toothe paste and they loved it - I know, not good for them but better than nothing I think.

I use logic so I just rub it over Star's teeth and gums, she loves it

wots the solution she bolts under the bed if i come near her with the tootbrush now infact if i give her a treat now she takes it very reluctantly

I use that brand Jenny the boys hate toothbrushing and nail clipping and bathing so it isn't done regularly. They would run away from all three if they could but I do it all in the bath where they do stand still and put up with it.
