Dibby - Bedlington

Dibby is a seven-year-old, male Bedlington Terrier, who came to The Mayhew because his elderly owner died. He is friendly with adults and is looking for a quiet household with an owner who will be at home all day, as he was used to constant company in his previous home. He is good with other dogs but generally aloof and independent, not terribly interested in toys and playing, but just content to have company and the comforts of home. He likes to sleep on sofas and beds.

Dibby is an active dog, despite his calm detachment, and will need at least one hour of off-lead exercise every day. He will also need regular clipping. We do not know whether he is fully house-trained. He will be having his teeth cleaned and treated shortly. His new guardians will be taking on a eight-year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.
