Food aggression...

Dizzy is a real problem around food to the point that she attacks the other dogs if they so much as walk past
Any suggestions on how to stop this???

I'm afraid if its dog to dog aggression its just a case of feeding seperately. Dog to person food aggression can usually be sorted but dog to dog is different

Hi Mand,
I had this problem between Teagan and Kingsley.
To the point that Teagan locked onto Kingsleys head.
I now feed Teagan in her cage, and Kingsley upstairs.

If you are not able to stand in the middle and enforce your will then they are better separated. Some dogs will accept your saying leave and others wont. Some will accept it with some types of food and other will cause a problem. Mine will eat their food with no problem but not a bone.

My two are feed in different rooms. But they are fine eating when I'm there they are no trouble just the fact that I'm there seems to be enough.
But normaly they are fed apart because Sal eats faster than Tess normaly and at the moment Tess is picking I think with her being in season
