Do your dogs have favourite breeds?

And as an oppostive question to which breeds your dogs don't like, do your dogs have favourite breeds?


Hoki ignores nearly all other dogs....except golden retrievers. When she sees one she starts making a very strange noise (sort of a 'mmmm' 'mmmm'!) and is desperate to get to them, though once she's there she doesn't really know how to interact and usually just stands there

Stumpy's favourites are male border collies, but she can also be quite partial to many small terriers.

Spaniels! roxie loves all spaniels but especialy red ones

My lab/Dane mutt goes completely gooey-eyed when he sees a Weimaraner. It's quite tragic because so far all the ones he has met are very snooty towards him.

Mine all love any sort of greyhound or lurcher

Mine all like big bouncy dogs so Boxers, other Dobermanns and Staffies are always well received.

Chloe's in seventh heaven whenever she meets another Tibetan Spaniel ..... she can spot one a mile off!

When we were in the UK her "best" friends were two Pomeranians ... she'd sit at the front gate every morning waiting for them and their owner to walk by.

Anything big, especially black labs! This is because 2 of the first big dogs they met were my staffs black labs (both called Jet!)

Mac used to have a thing for Bedlington Terriers Oh and other collies
