The first ingredient listed is maize, which I don't think is great. It also contains rice and barley. The 'meat meal' is 14%. So as a food, it does not have much meat in it at all...

Personally I would not feed this, but I'm no expert, it's just my opinion.

In addition, virtually all dry dog foods are extruded, which destroys a lot of the nutrients.

Composition: Maize, Lamb Meat Meal (min 14%), Barley, Rice (min 14%), Meat Meal, Beet Pulp, Poultry Fat, Digest, Vitamins & Minerals, Linseed, Kelp (0.2%), Yeast (0.1%), Citrus Extract (0.04%) & Yucca Extract (0.01%).

>80 grain
Three main grains plus linseed
Maize, barley, rice, linseed

Maize is also the single largest ingredient and not something I would choose to feed my dogs.

So this is not something I would pick to feed my dogs if I fed commercial.

This used to be an ok food until they reduced the meat content from 26% to 14% - ok for a supermarket food

No idea but if you go down to PAH look for the following:

One grain if possible at most two
Oats are best, rice is next best thing
Named protein source eg chicken or lamb etc
NO colourings

Less is often more ............

I feed Wainwrights wet trays - thus far Dex is doing better on this than he has on anything else.
