What a difference 3 months makes...

Well, it's just passed the 3 month mark since Axel joined out home. In that time he has turned 4, met a lot of dogs of all sizes and shapes, learnt that children are the best and become a clown and zoomie expert. He's also travelled around the country visiting family, been on 2 camping trips, train and bus rides and learnt not all men are going to hurt him!
I'm so pleased with how he's coming on, he is such a sweet boy, he has just been to a big county fair and met loads of dog and was brilliant with them all, the sweetest moment was when he met some children, he leaned on them sooo hard for affection he almost knocked them over!

Anyway, thought I'd show how he's changed.

This is Axel back in May when he arrived...

Look at his tail He was quite skinny and had that haunted robot thing going on

Now, more recent pics, showing his change in color and demeanor (he's finally black and shiny instead of brown with bald patches and dandruff!)

He loves having hugs where he rests his head on your shoulder, soppy boy

With 2 of my nephews, he's fab with them

And 1 last picture of my boy, just because I think he's gorgeous!

I just can't believe I've been blessed enough to have him in my life for 3 months already, I can't wait to see what our future together brings

Lovely post

He looks so much better now - particularly his coat and the look in his eyes

Wow, has it really been three months already? I remember you bringing him home. Wasnt it on condition your OH didnt have a reaction? He looks amazing now, such a sheen on his coat. You can rightly be very proud of your handsome boy!

Thanks guys! The pictures don't really do him justice, but he is now SO shiny and black! He's also got more weight on him too

Yes, we got him and could keep him providing my husband didn't react - to this day no reaction, even though he's reacted slightly to other greyhounds...show's that Axel was meant for us

You've done an amazing job with Axel hun. He's so very stunning. I love it when they put their heads on your shoulder. Holly does that too and she's so lovely and warm and squidgey!! Greyhounds are just amazing. Heaven sent.
