It's got to be "Jumbo Breakfast Roll" by Pat Short.
Irish members will know exactly what I mean.! It's an Irish tradition that I have embraced with great enthusiasm especially on the way to a dog show!

Lots of songs remind me of my country of birth, not all of them very cheerful The one I associate with my beautiful home town is "Red Sails in the Sunset", which was inspired by Portstewart, County Derry.

The one I associate with Liverpool, in a very nice way, is "Dirty Old Town"

Well, we have an unofficial province anthym now. lol "There's no place like this" Which is for ontario.

One is on youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLPXJawj7Xw

There are three versions, the first is the best I think

"Skip intro"
on the right hand side there's a box that says "there's no place like this" A pop up will come up and you can choose the version you would like to see.

A song with words by the late Hamish Henderson - The Freedom Come A' Ye - which, I hope, may well replace the once-great, now over-exposed Flower of Scotland as our unofficial Anthem (Visions of the tune being blasted out as the Scottish XV marches out at Murrayfield, to kick hell out of the English!)

I'm afraid our national anthem does nothing to stir me at all. However, Land of Hope & Glory reduces me to tears, so that's my choice

"LOHAG" is really very stirring, but it's interesting to note that Edward Elgar (who wrote the music - "Pomp and Circumstance March no.1") hated the version with words by A C Benson.
