Dog medication

Can I buy routine medications for my dog online, or without a vet consultation? I realise there are dangers in wrongly medicating my dog, but if there's another case of snow tail as this morning I'd like to be able to treat her with anti-inflammatories without the need for the vet. Any advice welcome. Thanks!

You can buy medications on line, but if they are prescription only medicines, you will still need a prescription from your vet.

If your vet has a large mark up for anti-inflammatories, you can have a consultation only and get a prescription - he can't force you to buy the medication from him.
