Small itchy bumps on 8 month springer

Hi

Any help/information would be appreciated, my Springer has 6 little bumps (about size of a pin head) - on his neck/back and chest. They appeared to be itchy but I have been applying sudocrem and the itching seems to have subsided a bit but the bumps are still there. It is not a tick and he is regularly treated with Frontline so i don't think It is flea related. Anybody experienced something similar and should I get it checked out or wait a few days and decide then?

Thanks

Dee

Sorry, no real advice, though they do sound like flea bites.

Its probably worth a trip to the vets just to check out what they are.

I have the exact same problem with my 18 month old Springer, but with the add on of flaky skin.

I took her to the vets after "Frontlining" her and the vet reckoned it was fleas. To be fair it had started to clear up a bit by the time I took her, but now it's back with avengence!

Kel (Random) did mention something about fleas now possibly becoming immune to Frontline due to it's popularity and that something stronger from the vet might now be necessary (Advantage etc).

In short, I'd probably pop him along to the vets just incase!
