Potential Staffie home

No - NOT ME.

There's a lady in town who I used to see every morning with her creaky old staffy boy. Haven't seen them for a month...............

There's a lady OH sees when he takes D to the woods. She's got a supermarket bag, picking up litter. Says she misses Spike, her old rescued staffy boy, who she lost a few weeks back. She adores D, she's the only person D does not make a fuss of (wierd eh? - perhaps she just seems over keen?)

Yesterday, in town, we were in a shop, I was looking at stuff and the lady in the shop says to OH - oh, you're the gentleman(!?) with the staffie.

Anyway, we started talking dogs (as you do) and she said she would really love another one. A quiet girl this time, as Spike was an old curmugeon and she thinks girls are more biddable.

I'll pass on any ideas or addresses - I've already told her to look for rescue on the internet - but if anyone knows of a nice dog looking for a nice home......

Not sure if you already have all these contacts DM but I know its harder to home an oldie- there will be lots of old uns all waiting for that special home.
