Swimmers Ear for Dogs??

Just wondering if there is any advice on dogs that swim a lot. My lab loves the water but I don't want her to have bad ears from too much swimming and water in her ears. I'm going to ask her vet but I also wanted some advice from anyone that has dogs that swim a lot.
A friend of mine has a lab, and she loves the water. But now shes older and has sore ears from so much water going into her ears. I don't want that to happen to my dog.

Any advice??

i used to take my pair swimming, the older one still goes but the younger one picked up an ear infection after water getting in the vet told me there are some drops that you can get to put in the ear,i can't remember what he called them though sorry

oh ok thanks. I'm taking her to the vet Monday and I'll see what they say. I say someone told me there are drops to put in their ears but they don't remember the name of them.
