So I find that a shame, that judges are prejudiced against solid dogs,
Doesthis happen in any other breed type????

Ok , I`ll put it this way...

The reality is solid dogs dont do as well in the ring as their flashy friends.... it is not set in stone, but on the whole flashies will always do better,

Some judges may be, some wont, many of our judges go abroad to judge, they will be faced with solid dogs to go over, if they are 100% prejudiced, they would not be able to see though colour.

Boxers are almost unique in the Show ring, it is not just down to conformation, colour and markings have their place to.

I am sure their are other breeds, who will have colour and marking up in the criteria for the show ring.

Just out of interest?
Dont competitors complain about the fairness of the show,
if judge just judge on colour?
Cant these judges be re educated or stopped judging if they are bias?

I agree with you to a point, but you are lucky , your breed still very much resembles its origens.... is that right.

The Boxer origens and what they where bred for no longer exist....so fashion as in many breeds have dictated what we have today,

Not many people would recognize the original Boxer as the dog it is today...I dont see that as a bad thing.

The flashy v Solid only applies in the show ring, not to mos tof us who own them as pets....colour is the last consideration.

Why would exhibitors complain, when they all follow the same ethos??

Colour is not the first thing a jugde will judge on....conformation/ movement/ head/colour...all are equaly inportant.

The head is the essence of the Boxer, this will be the deciding factor in any judges critique.
