Thanks everyone for the care that you all have gave me. My world has been shattered and heart feels so lost loved him so much.

The price we pay for loving them so much is the heartbreak we suffer when we lose them. Nothing helps when the pain is still this raw. But time does eventually work wonders. At least making it easier to think or speak about them without disintegrating.

Thanks each one of you have really been supportive it means a lot. I drive a truck so Bigboy passed away in the truck and I'm leaving in morning to go to very place he took his last breath. Its tearing my heart out to even think of getting in the truck much less to go to that place. My heart is so heavy with hurt and so lost without him.

Will be thinking about you doing that. It sounds like a lovely way to 'close'. I would have dearly loved to bury my last dog down at her beloved Salt Lake but the fear of her being dug up by animals loomed large (I'd sometimes find a whole backbone down there) so I paid to have her taken away and buried.
