Hope he starts to feel better soon..

We had something VERY similar with Caitlin when she was 2ish.. Very high temps(so high they couldn't plot them on the chart)..They did lots of tests etc but couldn't figure out what was wrong with her..

She was in hospital for nearly a week.. she was throwing up aswell.. They had her on Nurofen and Calpol every 4 hours as well as antibiotics..

Turns out she had a severe kidney infection (and the AB's they were giving her weren't working as she needed a diff type).. Once they figured it out she was given the right ones and she was well enough to go home 2 days later..

She was on meds for 6months with follow up scans for 6 months to make sure her kidneys healed themselves..

Might be worth mentioning to see if they have tested for that..

Thanks hun that's the test were waiting on, he was playing in his cot tonight however his temp was starting to rise, he is drinking and on calpol every 4-6 hrs and nurofen and the drip is still likely to be on him till tomorrow at least, he is still very pale but at least we can sleep tonight knowing he is getting better and try to put the scene of his lifeless body lastnight behind us. thanks for all the well wishers and prayer's something is working.

Just caught up with this Toni.

Hope when you get to the hospital there is some better news on little Kiernan.

Healing vibes.
