Reverse sneezing

I know some dogs seem to do this a lot, but I haven't encountered it with my own dogs until yesterday when Rogue started. She keeps having episodes of reverse sneezing and looks quite distressed then she's ok again. Could this be cause for concern, bearing in mind I have a two week old litter in the house too.

It does worry you when you first see and hear it ...
When I heard Tia doing it the first time i called my wife in a panic and she said calm her down and calm down yourself ..

She use to put a few drops of Olbas Oil on her bed ...

Jessie does it alot. Once she had quite a bad episode which scared her, and me! I didnt know what it was then, just thought she was choking! Flynn does it on very odd occasions, never heard Jed do it at all.

In case it could be due to something else, like a bug. She's just done it again and brought up some brown phlegm.

My whippets reverse sneeze frequently. I find gently holding my cupped hand over the end of their noses soon stops it. They've never brought up any phlegm though...

It's the phlegm that's the worry. She's looking a bit miserable now so she's booked in at the vets later.

I was right to be worried - she has kennel cough.

Oh blast, I was reading the thread and was concerned about the phlegm - never thought it might be kennel cough though as the phlegm brought up then is usually white.

What a worry with the pups, I do hope that they will be okay. What does the vet say about protecting them?
