In my opinion tea is a hot drink made with tea leaves and boiling water and tea is also dinner like a birthday tea etc like a mini dinner, finger food stuff like that. A dinner is the main meal of the day. My dictionary says; "dinner the principal meal of the day; a feast, a banquet".
