This could be a dangerous post for me. I quit the rate race a couple of years ago but am still in Herts as my OH has a very good job here, but I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO want to go to North Wales (or Ireland). We had a hol in Aberdaron around Easter and it was heaven on earth.

Hubby is from Rhos-on-Sea too, so he would love to go back.

What we need is a book sale, lottery win or another job up there.

There must be teaching jobs there? A friend of H's is 50 now and he got made redundant in his 40's, did a teaching degree and is now doing supply around the Rhyl area.

Not really our wages were roughly the same when we met. Sarah has been a teacher much longer than I had so when she got her promotion last year her wages were a lot more than mine So now i'm married to a rich woman though we didn't start out that way

The house i only saw one looks lovely there and much cheaper than majorca but you don´t get the sun there ? anyway not so much
