Lump On Leg Not Cancer!!!

Had some excellent news today. Some of you may remember me mentioning that my Aunties dog had a lump on her hind leg. She was told that if it was cancer and attached to the bone which they suspected, then she would have to have the whole of her leg removed.

Got a phonecall today and she has found out that it is not cancer! It is actually just a swelling, but they are not sure what is causing it at the moment.

My auntie is still worried because they don't know exactly what it is but we are so pleased that it is not cancer!

What excellent news, but so sad they scared your Aunt like that without knowing the full facts!

However, she will be overjoyed I am sure!

That is good news Hayley, whatever it is it can't be as bad as a malignant tumour and I hope the little dog is well again soon.

Please keep us informed with the details , they may help someone with a similar problem.

Thank you she is so relieved! She had an operation on the same leg last year when she ruptured her cruciate ligament and she wasn't very good under the anaesthetic, so she was really worried about her having to have another operation.

I will keep you all informed of her progress as I get the reports
