I thought you were talking about another type of wind

Anyways! It is quite windy here, thought I was going to get blown over bringing my horse in earlier.

It's been really wild for the past 24 hours here, our recycling box ended up halfway down the garden and the patio chair was blown over

I was awake half the night, last night, listening to the wind howling down the chimney

I took Henry out for his last walk about an hour ago and I don't know how we managed to get around the park, we could hardly walk in it and his ears were flapping all over the place, bless him

This was the second day/night we've had it, I wonder how long it's supposed to last

Marie and I have been blown around the field this evening when seeing to the horses too
Hay flying everywhere, plus the feed in their buckets from the tackroom....not good for the eyes.

Got home and have been to check my chicken runs a couple of times, we have two large trees in the garden and I didn't like the way the wind was blowing them either

Its very quite here, hope it dies down soon

hahahah I thought you were talking about the dog too, lol

Yes it's got very sprightly here now and my mum's Thai temple bells (I brought them back from my trips over there) fixed along outside her kitchen window, are dinging with a real purpose tonight.

Yes really bad here as well, I havn't heard wind like that for quite a while.
From all the replies it sounds like it is pretty much countrywide.

Well so much for it just hitting us. It's been pretty windy but not really too bad...having said that I've not looked for my bin yet.
