I was thinking that last night when I was out in the garden we had a few about a week ago but only the odd ones after that !!

Not that I'm complaining - it can stay this way for me

We had some on two days last week. I was out with Loki when they suddenly went off on the second day and that night he started having fits. May not be related but it made me wonder because he'd not gone very long since the last lot.

When I went down the fields with Chloe on Sunday morning, just through the field gate there was a large Fireworks box with the price £129 on it, spent fireworks and empty larger bottles .
It must have been local people, the no-through-lane is not known to strangers.
I was out baby sitting so didn't hear the 'party' but was very angry at the mess which was left

We're still in a recession, I would guess less people are spending out on fireworks for home, going to displays instead.
Now you've mentioned it, I haven't seen the firework display unit up in our local Tesco yet though. Did hear some going off the other night though.

Haven't heard too many as yet here either. Some last week birthday party or something I think. It can stay that way as far as I am concerned damn things.

I get cross about the mess left too Minnie especially as we live right on the nature reserve.

It will start tomorrrow with Diwali in many areas, followed by Halloween on 31 through to November the 5th with a short lull before Christmas and then NY Eve.

I do think the recession may have an impact though.
