Lu-Lu, 4 Months Old approx.

I an posting on behalf of a small animal rescue who hasn't yet got internet access

Lu-Lu; Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Background:
Bred by a family, Mother was a Staffie cross, Father said to be a Dogue de Bordeaux, Lu -Lu was from a litter of 9 and none of the litter were sold, community officer and Dog warden took the litter and they have been in rescue since they left their mother. Lu-Lu is in foster care with several other adult dogs and 5 litter mates.

Temperament:
Friendly and cuddly, shy at first, but when given time she’s lovely. Is good with other dogs but defensive at first and doesn’t like them to over stay their welcome – however if she lives with another dog this may pass. Loves a cuddle and gives lots of kisses.

Looking for:
A home to give her the time and love she deserves with a garden and space for her to exercise, in addition to walks. Can live with other dogs and dog savvy cats and children over 12.

Lu-Lu has had both her injections, is wormed and has had flea treatment. She is house trained but has not had much formal training. Clicker training is advised with this gentle soul. Lu-Lu will have to be spayed on agreement with adoption.

Unfortunately it wasn't to be - she'd get too big for them - but I have a trick up my sleeve - they're coming to a BBQ I'm throwing this weekend so I am going to swamp them with her cuteness and hope that the huge paws seem tiny on the day

Wish me luck. But as of now she is still up for adoption..tell your friends.

*Note* Lu-Lu may be alright with younger children (under 12's) but a warning to parents, she can jump up and she is teething at the moment so precautions will have to be made if she is to be adopted

"Sue and I are the timid ones. We don’t like being away from our comfort. I am very people orientated – wherever there is a human – I am following them; I love to give them kisses and cuddles. I do get on with other dogs but I don’t like my personal space being invaded by them. I can live with cats – but they are really fun to chase. I am a bit wary of new places and situations, but if there’s a person to help me along I am alright. I love nothing more than to snuggle on a sofa and snore my little head off. *smiles*
I love my food and treats so, oh what’s that thing I’ve heard the humans say; I would be good at clicker training (?), yes Clicker training – sounds like fun. My ideal home would be with someone who is there most of the time – so I can gain confidence and I need extra socialisation (I don’t know what that is). I am good with children but I probably need older children as I am a baby myself and I am teething at the moment and I do like to give cuddles so I would easily knock a mini human over."

Thank you.
