Dinah, 13 weeks tomorrow (Staffordshire Bull Terrier Pup)

The frog pose, so beloved of staffies the world over!

Note that she has graduated from the leopard-print furry cat bed (!!!) to a real big dogs bed. In fact it's our old lurchers bed, and he was quite a tall boy, so don't think she could ever fill it.



We've had a fun morning, went to the kennels so she could meet Auntie Val & Uncle Ken (she won't be staying there for a good while yet, no plans for dog-free holiday in the pipeline), so there were lots of new experiences there. Then her first walk in the woods. (We are so lucky, it's only 7 minutes walk down the road (when she's big enough to walk there and back and walk in the woods). We drove there and back and had a lovely walk kicking up leaves and watching the ducks on the river. So many new experiences and new smells - especially the fresh horse poo, vibrating with a million flies!!!!

Nothing else to report this week. She continues to thrive and enjoy life. We're still kn******d with this late parenthood - thank goodness we didn't leave it till we retired, as was our original plan!

But she slept till 7.15 this morning (from 9.15pm). A lie in!!! What joy.
