Kaos is in the vets...

Just thought I would let you all know, kaos started to limp last night and wouldnt put the foot down, when I looked at it, it seemed his second toe on the back leg was upsetting him,
I took him over to the vets this morning and they have kept him in, they think he may have a foreign body in the foot, so he is having a small op on his pad to see if they can find whatever is causing him problems,

will let you know how he is when I get him home

Hope everything is OK with Kaos - they do cause us worry don't they?

My eldest, Duke, managed to pick up a swollen left leg which I noticed on Sunday evening. He went to the vets and it looks like tissue swelling (as opposed to anything skeletal) and he is on Rimadyl for a week and lead walks which he is not impressed with!

Keep us posted.

Regards, Karen

depending on how busy james is. On the up side.. the nurses that are on today are big rottie lovers, so I know he will not go unloved.

has anyone else had this done with there dog, James said he would pair away the pad to find whatever is upsetting him, he has a small nick on the pad, so assuming thats where whatever went in?

I did ask if I would need to set a cage up for him, james said its highly unlikely..

I hate kaos being away from me, more so when hes upset, out of all the dogs I have, hes the one that needs his mummy when hes upset, dont get me wrong he will be very well behaved at the vets, but he will want his mum,
Im assuming James will have given him a small happy tab when I left to keep him sleepy untill he is ready to do the sedation.
Im just wishing the phone would ring and I could go bring him home

the others are laying round looking at me as much to say... she left with kaos.. came home alone........ DONT TRUST HER TODAY...
