Griff, hope your mum and dad enjoyed their visit to ST Ives, I love the place.

I hope Mandy is ok? Also Chris and family too are fully over their problems.

Dentist today and teeth extraction. yuk!

Not so warm today and very breezy so we can take a later walk with Dillon. Which is handy as we are quite worn out from our adventure yesterday.
Harvey not that much younger than yourself I'm sure. Old enough to feel the same just need a seat and table and sit down with a meal of some description. Gorden said everything now is made to make older life far more stressful than needed.

Had a phone call from the consultant at the hospital. He said he felt they could get on and organize things quicker if he did the consultation then so that Tuesday's consultation at the hospital could be cancelled and arrangements made for me to undergo top and tail camera ops. So some medication to scour me out will be forwarded and arrangements made for the camera work to be done sometime next week all being well. He said I would not be able to drive to the appointments as I shall be sedated so Steve would need to be on standby to escort me home and take care of me afterwards. Not looking forward to this lot.

Good luck at the dentist Moyra - one place I hate to visit. Thoughts with you for next week but once it has been done I hope they find out your problem and that it can be sorted easily.

Cant make its mind up today weather wise. Was trying to rain earlier but now hazy sun. Jus a day of fiddling around today.

Another call from the hospital.........Camera ops next Friday 1st June, 1.20pm. Starvation for 24 hours prior!! Not a happy bunny.

Definitely not right. Got to the dentist to find that my appointments are for next Tuesday and Thursday of next week. So I just wasted my time. All that gearing up for the extractions today. I could do with them out earlier really.

Moyra, I would check with the hospital about the extractions. It may not be a good idea to have the camera ops and extractions in the same week. It may, of course, be OK, but better to check it out so that the ops don't have to be re-arranged.

Rosie must have had her cute face on this morning because she got loads of cuddles. I'm used to having to wait for her cuddle time with complete strangers these days - par for the course - but even by normal standards this morning she did well

Someone puts a fair amount of grain down each morning in the park so we often see a couple of squirrels tucking into it - so very, very cute. They live in the tree at the side of the 'grain drop'.

Moyra... don't get the extractions done next week, you are going to be having a camera put down your throat and that means the risk of them knocking your gums... rebook the dental
Had my hair done.... nightmare, 11/2 hours!!! She did a good job but I have a feeling a job won't be forthcoming.

Good luck with that. I have ulcerative colitis. There is no known cure, just medication to ease the symptoms. However, it has been in remission for about a decade and I no longer take any meds for it. All good. But my gastro guy says I need a colonoscopy just to check that things are OK before he finally gives me the all clear. It is scheduled for next month and I am not looking forward to it one bit. On the last one the consultant offered to sell me the video........
