Weird black patchy things on Phoebe

Last week i noticed a weird black patch on phoebe, its a bit rough and was red around it, everyday ive noticed another one and they are now covering the backs of her back legs and 2 have appeared on her belly today. Im phoning vets tomorrow for an appointment hopefully with the skin specialist. Reason i wasnt worried at first is shes had one on her side for over a year and vet said it was dog version of a liver spot, and they look and feel exactly same but they now look sore. Shes not bothered with them atall.

Has anybody got any idea what they are?

Heres some photos

Gosh they do look as if they are becoming sore don't they; I don't have any ideas but hope that it can be quickly sorted at the vet tomorrow. Actually, looking at them again, and given how rapidly they are appearing, I wonder if it is something similar to ringworm, or even ringworm itself?

Good luck.

I would guess at ringworm too. Hope it goes well at the vets.

Been to vet and he says its not ringworm. He things its just a reaction of sorts but could also be a sign of a thyroid problem. We have abs and going back next week. Hes going to take blood next week as hes also no happy that her hair hast grown back from the surgery in december, her nails are brittle and flaking and the poop eating. So im even more worried than i was before

Don't panic just yet ( easier said than done ) my friends old BT Bruce was diagnosed with a thyroid problem ( can't remember what now ) he's on rather expensive tablets, but boy have they given him a new lease of life.

Did he do a skin scrape and snip some hair for a culture?
