Important if you are Travelling South for Crufts

The M6 motorway is due to be closed for overnight resurfacing work over the weekend of the Crufts 2005 Dog Show.

It will be closed southbound from J23 to J21A on the nights of Friday 11th/12th March and Saturday 12th/13th March between the hours of 9pm and 10.30am.

This will affect exhibitors travelling south who are north of the Thelwall viaduct who will need to allow extra time for their journey to Crufts.

I agree isn't it lunacy to do this when such a huge event is going on?

We last went to Crufts 2yrs ago and it took us 2hrs to get out of Birmingham alone, goodness knows what it will be like with all those roadworks!

Glad I'm not going this year, I will watch it on TV and have my 'interactive' button ready to get the Rottie action.
