Mya - Alaskan Malamute

Just wanted to post some pics..

The last week in June I received a phone call from the local rescue..to ask me to help them rehome a Malamute bitch that they had picked up as a stray who was never claimed..

I went on holiday safe in the knowledge that she wouldn't be going anywhere until I got home..

I had a family in mind (prompted by my breeder) who I had homechecked for another bitch a few months previous..

I called them and asked if they were still looking and they were..

We met with them and took them to meet this nameless stray and they fell in love..she had Kennel Cough which delayed getting her spayed but eventually she was spayed..then she was soo bouncy she done damage to her wound..When she was well enough she went to live with a gorgeous male Malamute..
She has settled in well, the dogs are friends but she hates the cats..BUT they are working on it and she isn't going anywhere..

Here are the pics .. makes me happy to see a job well done..(yes I was MORE than tempted to take her, the next one might not be so lucky and will probably end up here LOL)

ANyway.. MYA!!

First time we met her

With her new best friend

Paws firmly under the table

Comfiest seat in the house

Me first!!!

Isn't she just gorgeous?? How could someone not claim her..

Anyway..job done..I am happy with where she is and her new owners adore her

Shurrup you..you are just collecting them in all colours..I don't do reds..I didn't do seals either..

Besides Zeph(and the others) aren't what I would call red..

I would have one if it was that "shade"...LOL
