Another thread about 'Is it a staffie?'
I recieved a call a few years back to see if I could help this guy rehome a 7week old staffie pup. He had mated his own 2 staffie had 5 pups but was left with this little guy. He satyed about 50 miles away so I aked him to bring the pup to me. Which he did. When I first saw the pup I thought geez it's gotta beard. So I said it's not a full stafford but the man was adamant that he was. He has both parents. So I took the pup but didn't rehome it through the rescue I gave him to a friend of a neighbours. Any way about 6 mnths later I got a call from the same guy to say he wanted me to rehome his bitch as they were splitting up and he could take the dog but not the bitch. I went to see this dog myself. Well the most beautiful wee red bitch came to greet me at the door along with a brindle male. Both very staffie. As I was filling out all the paperwork to rehome the wee lass a big Beardied collie walks by. Wasn't very professional I know but I started to laugh. I asked who's dog. "That just Benji, he's our other dog but he's old." I told him that is where the beard on the pup came from but he said that Benji never got near the staffie. WRONG. He got her. So now we always go to see the dogs before we say we will rehome them.
